Although I mainly focused on the area of neuro-degenerative disease during my doctor of philosophy (Ph.D) study, the MCNS programme have much further enriched my knowledge in this area. MCNS programme includes most common neurological diseases in the clinical setting, and this is most attractive to me. "Even you are good at self-learning, a well-planned and structured face-to-face lecture series taught by multi-disciplinary experts is still irreplaceable." Also, practicum sessions are well organized and supported to consolidate the lecture knowledge.

Vascular problem is always a major cause for the neurological diseases. Even I used to focus on Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease, their differential from stroke is always a critical question in clinic. MCNS programme mainly focus on the area of stroke and other closely related neurological diseases. The course content is highly practical.

Health care professionals are always busy at work, yet the class timetable and exam periods can fit our busy schedule. We only have to take the scheduled regular lectures every Saturday afternoon, which best fits our shift duties. This helped much in relieving the potential time pressure on us.

Last but not least, my classmates are professionals from different disciplines. I believe the network of MCNS classmates is powerful in connecting knowledge, information and different viewpoints. As the Programme has now reached its 10th year milestone, our network has become even stronger!
