Excellent Dissertation Award

This programme fits me well because it covers a wide range of knowledge related to stroke care, general neurology, neurorehabilitation and all relevant areas.

It is my honour and pleasure to graduate from the Master of Science Programme in Stroke and Clinical Neurosciences (MCNS).

I am a nurse working in medical ward. Many of my patients suffer from stroke, dementia, parkinsonism disease and other neurological deficits. This programme fits me well because it covers a wide range of knowledge related to stroke care, general neurology, neurorehabilitation and all relevant areas.

Through taught lectures, interactive workshops and practicum by experts in neurology including university faculty staff, experienced medical doctors, nurses, speech therapists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and psychologists, I have gained much up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of neurological care. It helps much in my clinical practice. I now know more about neuroimaging, diagnosis, disease progress and prevention of various neurological diseases.

This year marks the 10th anniversary of the programme, and the course content have been fine-tuned and well tailored ever since. After completion of the programme, "I am not only performing particular procedures but knowing what, how and why I am doing those in my clinical nursing care." I think I have made the right choice for this practical and tailor-made programme. The teaching faculty and supporting staff are all very nice and helpful. I sincerely thank for their effort.
